We invite the people of Kupiškės and guests of the city to a sincere and musical evening - a concert-meeting, where the golden fund of Lithuanian pop music, memories, intriguing behind-the-scenes stories, and live songs will intertwine.

About the book "Legends" and the meeting

Lithuanian pop star, songwriter and godmother of the legendary band "Nerija" Nijolė Tallat-Kelpšaitė will present her memoir "Legends". It authentically tells the story of maestro Stasys Povilaitis and other prominent pop stars.

The book reveals the legends of old Vilnius, behind-the-scenes secrets and unexpected twists: for example, you will learn why S. Povilaitis did not change his last name or that he dreamed of going to live in Sweden. In addition to maestro S. Povilaitis, in the pages of the book you will get to know a large group of other pop legends: Romanas Marijošius, Džilda Mažeikaitė, Nele Paltiniene, Simonas Donskovs, Janina Miščiukaitė and many others.

Musical part of the evening

During the evening, the audience will be delighted with the beautiful voice and sincerity of the famous singer Elvyra , whose songs ("Zadeėjai man leliju", "Vilties žvaigžda", "Jūroje tik mes") have already captured the hearts of many.

At this meeting, Elvyra will perform songs that were once sung by Janina Miščiukaitė, Lilijana Ablėnaitė, Nijolė Ščiukaitė and for which the lyrics were written by Nijolė Tallat-Kelpšaitė herself.
