Secrets of Adamynė Manor: In Search of History, Wooden Architecture, and Treasures
Interesting, unique, and with the strangest stories, Lithuanian towns are a delight to the eye of a traveler. Located by rivers, lakes, or on plains, surrounded by greenery, with churches of various styles recognizable from afar.
Adomynė Manor is a beautiful and rare monument of wooden architecture, one of the best-preserved wooden manors in Lithuania, protected by the state and covered with the Blue Shield. The building, which dates back to the third century and was restored two decades ago, has preserved fragments of old ornamented parquet, several Dutch-type white and green brick ovens with a fireplace, a bread oven, stoves, a furnace where a huge cauldron was placed, a warehouse with wooden shelves, and cellars. The rooms of the central part of the palace are decorated with wall paintings. During the restoration work, a pot with silver coins was found in the manor yard. It is believed that not all of the lords' hidden wealth has been found, so we invite you to take a look around the manor and park and search for what treasures this area hides.

During the tour, as we travel through the manor, we will look for the most valuable preserved elements in each of its rooms – architecture, decorative elements, and interesting exhibits found in the Adomynė area. You will get acquainted with the complex history of Adomynė and the manor located there, its old owners and the vicissitudes of their lives, you will touch the subtleties of wooden architecture, and you will learn why this building is important today.
