Palėvenė Dominican Monastery Ensemble
Vienuolyno g. 6, Palėvenė, Kupiškis district
All three buildings of the monastery were built from the end of the 17th century – till the end of the 18th century. In 1789, a spacious barn with cellars was built. Next to the monastery there were a tavern, a hospital, and 2 almshouses. Only brick buildings have survived to this day: a stable with a carriage, a barn, a morgue, a monks' dwelling house, and a fence with an entrance gate. Currently, a hall has been restored in the monastery barn, where you can learn more about the history of this architectural ensemble. Guided tour of the former Palėvenė monastery barn and cellars – 6.00 EUR per person
The price of the entire package is 25.60 EUR per person (50% discount for disabled people, students and seniors; children under 6 years of age are free of charge)
