The valley of the river Kupa


The valley of the River Kupa is the most important natural area of Kupiskis as it crosses the town through the centre. The Kupa is a typical river of the Northern and Central Lithuania and the left tributary of the River Levuo. It passes through Kupiskis in its’ lower reaches of 3,2 km long and divides the town into 2 parts by its’ recessed valley. There are 2 panoramic viewpoints, walking paths and 2 new bridges.
