Street art not only decorates and enlivens buildings and structures, but also forms a new “face” of the town. The fresco “Kupiškėnai wedding” on the wall of the building in Gedimino Street and “Rainbow Horse”, decorating the old gun range wall, were created by the artist Henrikas Orakauskas. The latest works of street art in Kupiškis belong to Marius Skrupskis. Famous local people are immortalized in his works: forester Povilas Matulionis, poet Valdemaras Kukulas and his beloved pet – cat “Mėlynė”, as well as painter Kazys Šimonis (co-author Edvinas Laucius). Another work of street art, decorating the wall of the “Aibė” store in Vytauto Street, is made by Marius Skrupskis as well.
