LAST CHANCE TO JOIN THE FREE PROJECT IN KUPIŠKIS POOL
Kupiškis Pool announces registration for the third phase of the FREE project "Physical activity training in water for adolescents and their family members", which will take place from September 1, 2025 to December 31. This is the last opportunity to become part of this project.
Why is it important to know how to swim?
Swimming is not just a sport or entertainment. It is a vital skill that can save a life in a critical situation. Knowledge and skills acquired in the aquatic environment build self-confidence, help develop endurance, discipline, and teach you to overcome fears. In the project, participants will not only develop swimming techniques, but also learn the basics of survival in water and first aid - skills that are extremely important in everyday life.
"Swimming is one of the most important skills that everyone should learn. It's not just a safety issue - swimming develops the whole body, strengthens health and helps develop self-confidence. In addition, it is an activity that especially unites the family - joint training provides an opportunity to spend time together and create shared experiences," says project trainer Algirdas.
Project progress and conditions
The classes will take place 3 times a week - 3 hours of practical activities are planned. Participants will increase physical activity, strengthen their health, and at the same time discover the importance of teamwork and experience how much can be achieved through joint efforts.
