Veranda

The bright, cozy veranda was introduced ten years later than the manor itself. When this part of the building was connected to the existing building, the outer wall of the manor remained preserved. And here we see the remains of the wall painting of the late Gothic romanticism period: wallpaper was glued onto wooden boards, and ornaments, pilasters with capitals, and friezes were drawn on them. An ornamental composition with oriental motifs was painted on the ceiling using the same principle, depicting a tea ceremony.

This place was a favorite summer retreat for gentlemen. There was a large orangery here, flowers bloomed all summer, tea was drunk here, and gentlemen posed for portraits.
