Kupiškis City Festival "Island 545" is a unique space where impressive views, atmospheric magic, local history, entertainment and live music intertwine. We invite you to join us in celebrating Kupiškis' name day anniversary!

PROGRAM:

JULY 18

HONEY-SMOKING EVENING

8 p.m. at L. Stuokas-Gucevičius Square – an afternoon picnic “The Aroma of Liepžiedžių Arbatos Aromatas”. We will taste Liepžiedžių Arbatos Aromatas” together with: Juodpėnai Vocal Trio, multiple winners and prize-winners of Lithuanian and Latvian dance sports competitions Nikita Zimin and Kamile Gerasimovaitė, singer, actor, participant of various television projects Tadas Juodsnukis.

JULY 19

• NEAR KUPIŠKIS MARINE AND ON THE ISLAND "UOSVĖS LIEŽUVIS"

10 am-6 pm at the site near the Eling – 4th Lithuanian Armlifting Championship.
13:00–24:00 – fair on the island.
1–6 p.m. – entertainment, education, discussions, sports activities, information stands, pavilions: children's and family space "Entertainment Pier", youth space "Drifting Platforms", information stands, pavilion trail "Friendship Trail".
1:30 p.m. in the conversation tent – “Anchors of Experiences”. Participating are the ambassadors of Kupiškis culture, the popularizer of a healthy lifestyle and mindset, Paulius Briedis, the extreme traveler to Chernobyl Klaudija Mackevičiūtė, the archivist Lukas Kavaliauskas, the Lithuanian
Caritas, etc.

• BEACH STAGE

1–2:30 p.m. – concert of regional art groups.
3 p.m. – Election of the coolest mother-in-law.

• AT THE KUPIŠKIS CULTURAL CENTER

12:00 pm in the Stained Glass Hall – Festive meeting. Official delegations of partner cities participate.

• ISLAND SCENE

5:30–7 p.m. Welcome speeches and a concert by Kupiškis foreign partner groups.
At 7 p.m. on the boat "Jara" - a concert "Jazz on the Water".
8 p.m. – Oneida Kunsunga and her band perform a concert titled “Afro Rhythm. World Music Hits.”
9:10 p.m. – Black Biceps concert. "This is a band that does whatever they want on stage. Balkan rave, irony, muscles and no boundaries. Not just music, but a phenomenon."
10:10 p.m. – concert program by renowned electronic music producer and DJ Leon Somov.

The holiday transport is an electric train.
Route: The area near the church (Atgimimo St.) - the place of celebration.

JULY 20

• L. STUOKA-GUCEVIČIUS SQUARE

6 p.m. – concert by the music group "U'Elements" and Kupiškis Art School student Urtė Baltakytė (IV Sacred Music Festival "Regina Pacis").
