We invite you to celebrate Baltic Unity Day and the Autumn Equinox together!
In the torchlight procession, we will travel to Kupiškis Mound, where we will light a ceremonial fire, sing hymns and sutartines, honor the Baltic tribes, ancestors, and the oak tree - a symbol of strength. Participants will be able to light candles from the sacred fire and take them home as a sign of unity and light.
Event date: September 21, 2025.
6:30 p.m. – torchlight procession from the entrance to Kupiškis KC to the Kupiškis Mound.
7 p.m. – ceremony on the Kupiškis hillfort: lighting the altar, hymns, honoring the tribes and oak, lighting a bonfire, blessing candles and sharing the fire.
The event is free. We invite you to bring a candle and consecrate it with fire.
